"Anaesthesiology Intensive Therapy" (ISSN 1642-5758, eISSN 1731-2531) is the official journal of the Polish Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Therapy. It has become a dynamically growing platform for international scientific exchange in anaesthesiology, intensive therapy, pain and emergency medicine.  The Journal published mainly original papers of high scientific quality, but also editorial reviews, letters and commentaries to disseminate the best research as well as educational information.   

AIT is published five times a year (the first issue not later than March 31, the second issue not later than June 30, the third issue not later than August 31, the fourth issue not later than 31 October, the fifth issue not later than December 31). Submission and publication are free of charge for the authors.

The Journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
