Letter from Editors

Dear Readers,

For over ten years Onkologia w Praktyce Klinicznej has been official journal of The Polish Society of Clinical Oncology successfully publishing mainly educational materials and case reports for local readers. With the advent of next decade, while preserving its predominantly educational character, we have decided to try to increase its visibility and readership.

We decide to sets sail under a new flag today and we convert into full text English with simultaneous title change to: Oncology in Clinical Practice. Our goal is to spread the Oncology in Clinical Practice in the international fields, both by broadening the readers audience and creating links with other oncological societies within the region.

Oncology in Clinical Practice will keep its primarily educational character, but will also consider publication of research papers, especially coming from young investigators. Local readers will still have a possibility to submit manuscripts in Polish. After reviewers acceptance such authors will be asked to deliver English version of the manuscript or the Publisher will translate it free of charge. Since the beginning of 2016, Oncology in Clinical Practice will be an Open Access journal.

Currently, Editors welcome some new members in Advisory Editorial Board both from Poland and abroad. Thank you for all your support and commitment in invitation of new papers. We hope for even better cooperation in the future.

We believe that current determination of all Editors and the Publisher will enable us to achieve the ambitious goal of improving this stable periodical for specialists, carrying on the educational mission as well as promoting selected original papers of growing quality. We are incredibly excited about the possibilities ahead for this project. Regardless to these changes, Polish edition of the Journal will still be kept for the comfort of some of our local readers.

With Kind Regards,
The Editors,
Oncology in Clinical Practice
