Niefarmakologiczne strategie leczenia chorych z niewydolnością serca

Streszczenie
Współczesne metody leczenia niewydolności serca (NS) nie ograniczają się wyłącznie do leczenia farmakologicznego, lecz uwzględniają również wiele strategii wchodzących w zakres metod niefarmakologicznych. Metody te zajmują ważne miejsce w prewencji oraz leczeniu NS i wpływają na redukcję liczby hospitalizacji jak i poprawę rokowania.
Wśród strategii niefarmakologicznych mających największe znaczenie w poprawie stanu chorego z NS należy wymienić: zaangażowanie w proces leczenia wykwalifikowanej pielęgniarki, opiekę zespołu wielospecjalistycznego, monitoring poszpitalny, edukację zdrowotną pacjenta i jego rodziny, a także naukę zachowań z zakresu samoopieki.
