Zasady profilaktyki chorób układu krążenia w 2018 roku

Streszczenie
Choroby układu krążenia są główną przyczyną zgonów w Polsce. Najważniejszymi przyczynami takich chorób jak zawał serca, niewydolność serca i udar mózgu jest styl życia i i czynniki ryzyka rozwoju miażdżycy. Również u osób z objawami tych chorób zarówno styl życia, jak i kontrola czynników ryzyka ma istotny wpływ na rokowanie. W ciągu ostatnich dwudziestu miesięcy szereg polskich, europejskich oraz amerykańskich towarzystw naukowych opublikowało aktualizacje wytycznych dotyczących profilaktyki chorób układu krążenia. W nowych wytycznych dokonano kilku istotnych zmian. W artykule przedstawiono najważniejsze rekomendacje w zakresie profilaktyki chorób układu krążenia.
