Stwardnienie guzowate — opis przypadku

Streszczenie
Stwardnienie guzowate (Choroba Bourneville'a-Pringle'a, tuberous sclerosis complex [TSC]) jest chorobą należącą do grupy fakomatoz (chorób nerwowo-skórnych). Charakteryzuje się występowaniem licznych, łagodnych guzów o charakterze hamartoma (skóra, mózg, serce, płuca, nerki, wątroba), a także sporadycznie nowotworów złośliwych. Dziedziczy się w sposób autosomalny dominujący lub może być skutkiem mutacji de novo. Stwardnienie guzowate może być spowodowane mutacją w jednym z dwóch genów — TSC1 i TSC2. Gen TSC1 jest umiejscowiony na długim ramieniu chromosomu 9 (9q34), odpowiada za kodowanie hamartyny, białka o ciężarze cząsteczkowym 130 kDa. Gen TSC2 znajduje się na długim ramieniu chromosomu 16 (16p13.3) i odpowiada za wytwarzanie tuberyny, białka o ciężarze cząsteczkowym 180 kDa. Celem pracy jest przedstawienie przypadku klinicznego pacjenta z stwardnieniem guzowatym.
