Pain management in woman with advanced cervical cancer and local spread to iliac bone and sacral plexus

Abstract
This report describes a case of 34 years old woman suffering from advanced cervical cancer, with the spread to pelvic and inguinal lymph nodes, sacral bone, iliac bone, spinal nerve roots S1-S2 and gluteal muscles. It was accompanied by cachexia and pain (NRS 7–9), mostly within S1-S2 innervation. This was reduced with applied treatment to the level of NRS 3.
