„Palliative Medicine in Practice” an official journal of the Polish Association of Palliative Care (PAPC — an Associate Member of the European Association for Palliative Care — EAPC) is a peer reviewed, open access international scholarly journal, published four times a year. The journal is educational and its aim is to improve knowledge in the palliative and supportive care provided for patients with cancer and other chronic diseases. “Palliative Medicine in Practice” is an interdisciplinary journal directed to practitioners of different kinds of support, particularly to physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, pharmacists, social workers, psychologists, chaplains, and volunteers. Articles published in the journal are original studies, reviews (including systematic reviews and meta–analyses), case reports, special articles, letters to the Editor, book reviews, editorial commentaries as well as reports from Conferences. Manuscripts submitted to the journal are accepted on the understanding that they were not published (except in the form of an abstract) nor submitted to another journal. All manuscripts submitted undergo fast and rigorous double–blind peer review in which Authors do not identify Reviewers and Reviewers do not know the Authors. The Editorial Board of “Palliative Medicine in Practice” consists of international experts in the field of palliative and supportive care. The journal has been published since 2007.
