Abstract

Muscle and neuromuscular junction damage might develop in cancer patients. These conditions tend to be overlooked because they develop alongside cancer cachexia, asthenia and muscle atrophy. The diagnosis of muscle conditions in advanced cancer patients is difficult and often impossible. Some of the conditions described below can be prevented and some can be treated. Muscle damage must be taken into consideration while taking care of a patient suffering from fatigue.
