The effect of coffee, tea, cocoa on blood pressure and cardiovascular system

Abstract

Coffee, tea and cocoa are out of the water to the most commonly consumed beverage in the world. Althout the literature on the impact of these beverages on human health is very large, but still a lot of interactions coffee, tea and cocoa on cardiovascular system is still the subjects of unfinished research. Disposable coffee consumption increases the blood pressure, can trigger arrhythmias, and even myocardial infarction. In contrast daily chronic coffee consumption reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease and does not pose a risk of developing type II diabetes. Beneficial to health is also consumption of tea especiall green tea. Uncluded in these catechins reduce the incidence of heart attacks and strokes. Dark chocolate improves the function of vascular endothelial, decreases blood pressure and reduces the insulin resistance.
