Abstract

Immunosupressive treatment is currently broadly used in different areas of medicine. However immunosupressive drugs have numerous different side effects. One of them is arterial hypertension. Immunosupressive drugs with hypertensive properties are calcineurin inhibitors (cyclosporine A and tacrolimus) and glucocorticoids. In the present paper hypertensinogenic properties of these drugs are described, as well as methods of prevention and treatment hypertension caused by these drugs.
