Pseudopheochromocytoma
Nadciśnienie tętnicze 2009;13(1):59-61.
Abstract
Pseudopheochromocytoma is a rare syndrome resembling
clinical manifestations of pheochromocytoma. It has been
suggested that an enhanced release of adrenaline and
exaggerated cardiovascular responses to catecholamines
might contribute to the paroxysmal hypertension and clinical
symptoms resembling pheochromocytoma. The proper
diagnosis of this syndrome is difficult and must exclude
the treatable pheochromocytoma.
