Bupropion - the effective antidepressant with favorable clinical profile of action on sexual functions

Abstract

The appearance of sexual disorders is very common in depression. It is caused by both: depression itself and use of antidepressants. The major problems are: hypolibido, orgazm disorders, erection disorders and ejaculation disorders. One of the method of sexual dysfunctions treatment is changing medicament to antidepressant with a smaller impact on those dysfunctions. One of those is Biupropion which was recently register in Poland. It’s impact on dopamine system results in less side effects on sexual dysfunctions.
