Abstract


Introduction. The article presents issues connected with ACOAs sexual activity.
Material and methods. The subject of empirical research presented in the article was a description of diferences between ACOAs and non-ACOAs sexual activity. The metod of examination was a questionnaire.
Results. On the basis of research one can state that specific interactions and relations predominant in the alcoholic family and what follows, experiences received from this type of a dysfunctional family crucially influence sexual activity in an adult life. Results of statistical analyses indicate frequent occurrence of problems in the sexual life of ACOAs.
Conclusions. People brought up in families with the alcohol problem often experience difficulties connected to intimate relations, with the ability to start and keep up satisfying and long-term relations with people. In connection to this, a statement arises that an alcoholic parent can influence strongly the sexuality in the adoult life
