Abstract
In a large number of operations carried out in medicine, industry and nuclear facilities, as well as in emergencies, situations occur when the skin becomes a critical organ in persons occupationally exposed to a radiation hazard. Individual monitoring, which makes it possible to determine the directional dose equivalent H’ (0.07, ∀) from superficial contamination of the human body, is not an easy or fast measurement.
A method is presented of estimating the human skin radioactive hazard, based on measurements carried out with operational monitoring equipment.
