Porphyromonas gingivalis w patogenezie reumatoidalnego zapalenia stawów.

Abstract
Porphyromonas gingivalis to Gram ujemna pałeczka, która ma udowodniony wpływ na rozwój choroby przyzębia. Jednak coraz częściej bada się również jej wpływ na inne jednostki chorobowe, w tym choroby reumatyczne. W pracy omówiono główne mechanizmy, poprzez które P. gingivalis wpływa na układ immunologiczny, a przez to może odgrywać istotną rolę w przebiegu reumatoidalnego zapalenia stawów.
