Zastosowanie sekukinumabu w leczeniu pacjentów z łuszczycowym zapaleniem stawów i chorobami współistniejącymi
Abstract
Łuszczycowe zapalenie stawów (ŁZS) należy do grupy jednostek chorobowych znanych jako spondyloartropatie zapalne. Jest to choroba zapalna stawów prowadząca do deformacji i zniszczenia stawów w dużej grupie pacjentów. Zmiany nadżerkowe w zakresie stawów rąk lub stóp obserwuje się u około 47% chorych w ciągu 2 pierwszych lat choroby pomimo stosowania klasycznych leków modyfikujących przebieg choroby. Podobnie jak inne jednostki chorobowe z grupy spondyloartropatii zapalnych, charakteryzuje się występowaniem chorób towarzyszących, które niejednokrotnie znacznie utrudniają podjęcie decyzji o zastosowaniu odpowiedniego leczenia. Z uwagi na współchorobowość oraz heterogenność obrazu klinicznego, diagnostyka i leczenie ŁZS stanowi duże wyzwanie. W pracy przedstawiono opisy przypadków klinicznych, w leczeniu których zastosowano sekukinumab, zarówno w pierwszej, jak i drugiej linii leczenia z uwzględnieniem chorób współtowarzyszących.
