International Classification for Nursing Practice — Polish nursing nephrological future

Abstract

Nephrology nursing creates to nursing teams a lot of tasks that require special skills. These tasks are often combining maintenance treatment (nephrology clinics and departments) with surgical treatment (dialysis, transplant units). International Classification for Nursing Practice (ICNP) unifies communication system in nursing around the world. Well formulated diagnosis for nephrology patient and fitting appropriate actions based on the ICNP are very important steps in building a proper communication in nephrology nursing, especially that nephrology patient care lasts many years. Patient, which has a well maintain documentation of nursing care, due to the nature of his disease can safely moving around the world.
