Coexistence of clear cell renal carcinoma and renal cell carcinoma variant spindle cell

Abstract

Coexistence of clear cell renal carcinoma and spindle cell variant is very rare. Case of 70-years old male patient with a large tumor in the left kidney. Nefrectomy and Hartmann’s operation of the colon was performer 1 month after diagnosis. Clear cell renal carcinoma coexisting with spindle cell variant was revealed on the basis of pathological examination of the excised material.
