W poszukiwaniu skutecznych metod profilaktyki zaburzeń odżywiania: wykorzystanie indukcji dysonansu poznawczego (przegląd literatury).
Streszczenie
Dane epidemiologiczne pochodzące z krajów europejskich wskazują, że w populacji kobiet rozpowszechnienie anoreksji w ciągu życia wynosi <1-4%, a bulimii <1-2% [1]. Badania prowadzone w populacji ogólnej wskazują, że tylko 17-31% osób, z prawdopodobną diagnozą zaburzeń odżywiania, poszukuje adekwatnego leczenia [2]. Taka sytuacja stwarza potrzebę poszukiwania czynników ryzyka rozwoju zaburzeń odżywiania oraz metod profilaktyki skierowanych do grup wysokiego ryzyka i mających na celu zapobieganie rozwojowi zaburzeń. W literaturze przedmiotu brakuje rzetelnych publikacji dotyczących stosowanych w Polsce metod profilaktycznych oraz ich skuteczności, tymczasem skuteczna profilaktyka ma szansę nie tylko zredukować liczbę przypadków wystąpienia zaburzeń odżywiania, ale także zmniejszyć prawdopodobieństwo wystąpienia innych współistniejących problemów psychicznych.
