A place of aripiprazole in the treatment of schizophrenia group psychosis

Abstract
Schizophrenia is a serious mental disease requiring systematic pharmacological treatment. During last years it has been mostly treated with second generation of antipsychotic drugs and one of their representative — aripiprazole. This substance belongs to well tolerated, effective and safe agents in respect of metabolic and endocrine side effects. It may be administered as well as treatment of disease onset or by chronic patients. It is succesfully used as mono- or politherapy.
