Hypercholesterolaemia coexisting with nicotinism: when should we start hypolipidaemic therapy?

Abstract
Hypercholesterolaemia and nicotinism are very important factors for cardiovascular risk. They often coexist that may significantly increase the risk of death and complications from cardiovascular system. This paper presents a case of patient with high cardiovascular risk and need for treatment with atorvastatin 30 mg/day.
