Abstract

Abstract: A case of a 5-year-old boy with complex heart disease and acute occlusion of modified Blalock-Taussig shunt is presented. The patient was treated with balloon angioplasty and local infusion of recombinant tissue plasminogen activator without persistent good effect. He was successful treated with the implantation of two coronary stents into the occluded shunt.
