Streszczenie

Postęp metod neuroobrazowania istotnie wpływa na poprawę jakości diagnostyki i leczenia
chorób naczyniowych ośrodkowego układu ner wowego i pozwala na skuteczniejsze
rozpoznawanie tak zwanych „rzadkich” przyczyn udaru mózgu, takich jak rozwarstwienie
tętnic domózgowych. W pracy przedstawiono czynniki ryzyka, przyczyny, objawy, metody
diagnostyczne oraz zasady leczenia rozwarstwienia tętnic domózgowych z uwzględnieniem
istotnej roli badania ultrasonograficznego w diagnostyce wczesnych etapów choroby, ocenie
wydolności krążenia obocznego, i kontroli efektów leczenia. Podkreślono konieczność
indywidualizacji metod leczenia wobec braku jasnych wytycznych dla postępowania terapeutycznego
opartych na wynikach wieloośrodkowych badań.
