Napięciowe bóle głowy w praktyce lekarza rodzinnego

Streszczenie
Napięciowe bóle głowy są najczęstszym rodzajem pierwotnego bólu głowy. Jakkolwiek w większości przypadków choroba przebiega łagodnie i doraźne leczenie zapewnia pacjentom prawidłowe to funkcjonowanie, to u około 2-3% populacji ogólnej przybiera ona postać przewlekłych bólów głowy prowadząc do istotnego obniżenia jakości życia i wzmożonej konsumpcji leków przeciwbólowych. Rozpoznanie napięciowych bólów głowy nie wymaga przeprowadzania badań dodatkowych i jest możliwe w warunkach podstawowej opieki zdrowotnej, o ile pamięta się o sytuacjach mogących sugerować objawowe bóle głowy. W warunkach podstawowej opieki zdrowotnej można także prowadzić doraźne i profilaktyczne leczenie napięciowych bólów głowy. W artykule przedstawiono dane odnośnie obrazu klinicznego, epidemiologii, możliwego patomechanizmu oraz zasad terapii napięciowych bólów głowy.
