Abstract

The most frequent cardiac tumours are metastases. Despite being a rare cause of symptoms, they occur in the course of disseminated melanoma and concern up to 64% of these patients. The abnormal mass within the heart is often a case of ECG abnormalities suggesting ischaemia — they also might result in the presence of life-threatening arrhythmias. The following study presents a case of a patient with melanoma cardiac metastasis who developed ventricular tachycardia ventricular tachycardia and abnormalities in resting ECG suggesting the evolution of inferior STEMI.
