Abstract

Hypertension is an important risk factor for cardiovascular diseases. The efficacy of antihypertensive therapy, however, is still insufficient. Combination therapy of hypertension at least two drugs achieves the target blood pressure. The combination of perindopril and amlodipine is extensively studied well the combination of drugs, for which demonstrated a reduction in total mortality and cardiovascular mortality, cardiovascular events and stroke.
