Abstract

A 74 year old woman with a history of severe right heart dysfunction was admitted to our ward to initiate the treatment of the pulmonary hypertension, as it was thought to be the main cause of structural changes and the principal aim of the treatment. Right heart catheterization showed only mild reactive pulmonary hypertension and further diagnosticsas well as detailed reanalysis allowed the diagnosis of arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy.
