Abstract

Heart failure is one of most often problems in present cardiology. Acute heart failure is life threatening condition and requires immediate intervention. Current recommendations are based on drugs, for which there are no evidence based for improvement of prognosis in acute heart failure. In acute heart failure there are new challenges with the analogue of physiological polypeptide relaxin-2, serelaxin. In this article we present results of RELAHAHF, which is so far the biggest conducted clinical trial on this drug.
