Abstract

Obesity in children and adolescents can have serious health consequences during a developmental age as well as in adulthood. Prevalence of overweight and obesity increases and is considered to become an epidemic.
This study compares prevalence of overweight and obesity in children and adolescents in various countries on the basis of the published epidemiologic data.
