Disaster and Emergency Medicine Journal (DEMJ) is the official journal of Polish Society of Disaster Medicine. It is an international, scientific, peer review journal covering a brand spectrum of disaster health and emergency medical information.

The Journal publishes only high-quality research and review articles, letters to the editor, images in disaster and emergency medicine, comprising both clinical and translationally investigators in the field of disaster and emergency medicine.  

Disaster and Emergency Medicine Journal is particularly focused on innovation and technology applied to disaster and emergency medicine. Original Research on this topic will receive absolute priority, provided that the quality of the manuscript meets the high standards of the journal and can compete fairly with the submissions in other areas. The ultimate mission of the journal is building bridges between technology and clinical research that can be beneficial for patients in critical condition. 

The Disaster and Emergency Medicine Journal is published 4 times a year. The Journal is available in full open access and there is no manuscript processing fee at DEMJ. The journal promotes the scientific publications and knowledge sharing in the prehospital and emergency care field. Accepted manuscripts will be published first as an Ahead of Print.
