Toczeń rumieniowaty krążkowy i rak kolczystokomórkowy skóry

Streszczenie

Toczeń rumieniowaty krążkowy (DLE, discoid lupus erythematosus) jest przewlekłą chorobą skóry o podłożu autoimmunologicznym, charakteryzującą się zmianami zapalnymi skóry. Pacjenci z DLE często przejawiają nadwrażliwość na światło, tendencję do bliznowacenia zmian i większą podatność na nowotwory skóry. Niniejszy przegląd systematyczny ma na celu kompleksową ocenę dostępnej literatury, mającą umożliwić zrozumienie związku między DLE a rakiem kolczystokomórkowym skóry (cSCC, cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma). W celu zidentyfikowania odpowiednich badań dokonano systematycznej kwerendy głównych medycznych baz danych pod kątem prac opublikowanych w latach 1978–2023. Do przeglądu włączano badania, w których oceniano związek między DLE a cSCC wraz z przedstawieniem danych epidemiologicznych, parametrów klinicznych oraz wyników leczenia. Istnieją dowody wskazujące na korelację między DLE a rakiem kolczystokomórkowym. Celem badania było zidentyfikowanie literatury na temat DLE i raka kolczystokomórkowego (SCC) oraz analiza potencjalnych czynników ryzyka. Pracownicy służby zdrowia powinni być świadomi zwiększonego ryzyka zachorowania na raka u pacjentów z DLE i rozumieć znaczenie regularnych badań oraz ochrony przeciwsłonecznej skóry.
