Wpływ terapii izotretynoiną na układ krążenia
Streszczenie
Izotretynoina to lek należący do grupy retinoidów, stosowany głównie w dermatologii. Poprzez swój mechanizm działania prowadzi do zmniejszenia produkcji sebum, co skutecznie hamuje powstawanie trądziku. Niestety, lek ten wykazuje liczne działania niepożądane. Celem niniejszego badania było dokonanie przeglądu literatury pod kątem przypadków klinicznych i prac dotyczących działań niepożądanych izotretynoiny w kontekście układu sercowo-naczyniowego. Udowodniono, że izotretynoina może uszkadzać układ krążenia, powodując zmiany w strukturze ścian serca, epizody zakrzepowo-zatorowe, incydenty wieńcowe i zaburzenia w metabolizmie lipidów. Zrozumienie tych działań niepożądanych wymaga przeprowadzenia dalszych badań klinicznych.
