Incretin-like effect of acarbose

Abstract
Acarbose is well known drug in therapy of type 2
diabetes. Some effects of acarbose are connected
with its action on incretin axe. Such efects are results
of non absorbed glucose, which stimulates in lower
part of intestinum secretion of GLP-1 by L cells.
