Abstract

The authors present a case of a 50 years old patient with a pseudoaneurysm of the gastroduodenal artery mimicking a bleeding stomach ulcer. The aim of this article is to indicate that visceral artery aneurysms must not be overlooked when diagnosing recurrent upper gastrointestinal bleeding and that the possibility of major vessel damage by peptic ulcers must also be stressed.
