Abstract

A case is presented of a patient with a false aneurysm at the distal anastomosis of the femoropopliteal bypass who received a peripheral stent-graft to repair vascular defects. Current knowledge on the etiology, pathomechanisms of development, and treatment of such complications is also presented. Finally, the potential use of minimally invasive procedures in the treatment of late complications following reconstructive surgery is discussed.
