Abstract

The paper presents the opinions of the authors on the effects of dentogenic infection foci. The term infection focus denotes a general response in the form of a local inflammatory infiltration caused by bacteria (primary focus). Although primary infection foci can be located in the adnexa, urinary and biliary tracts, 90% of these occur in head tissues.
