Abstract

Venous thromboembolism is a relevant complication in patients operated for oncological reasons. Authors discuss the problem of primary and secondary thromboprophylaxis in this group of patients on the basis of the case of woman with recurrence of urinary bladder carcinoma, in whom palliative, abdominal operation was performed.
