Abstract

In this paper an analysis of mortality rates in patients who were treated endovascularly (stent- graft implantation) due to acute and chronic aortic diseases is presented. The analysis was performed on 152 cases of death, including 32 cases of hospital death, during a primary or secondary endovascular procedure. The main reasons which are directly related to the risk of death during primary repair procedures include coronary artery diseases complicated by cardiac infarct and stage CCS III of coronary insufficiency.
