Abstract

Conservative and operative treatment of hindbrain ischaemia has become a routine method in the cases of lesions in extracranial parts of vertebral arteries i.e. arteriosclerotical plaques in their proximal parts (V1) or vertebrobasilar insufficiency. The authors present ultrasonographical diagnostic problems in patients with the above diagnosis.
