Abstract

Clinical picture of stroke develops on the base of quality clinical examination. Scales which evaluate select stroke signs are the most useful in stroke monitoring. A lot of scales were created to asses acute stroke, level of cripplehood and poststroke inefficiency, also to evaluate select signs, very important from the prognostic point of view. Authors discussed the most videly used scales and their practical value.
