Dysfunkcje seksualne u kobiet w przebiegu zaburzeń afektywnych

Streszczenie

Celem niniejszej pracy przeglądowej jest omówienie czynników wpływających na występowanie dysfunkcji seksualnych w przebiegu depresji i choroby afektywnej dwubiegunowej u kobiet. Autorzy pracy dokonali przeglądu literatury dostępnej w bazie PubMed oraz Scopus z okresu od 1 stycznia 2010 do 31 marca 2020 roku. Badania podkreślają rolę dysfunkcji seksualnych jako objawu choroby, a także zwracają uwagę na zależność od farmakoterapii, chorób towarzyszących czy zaburzeń snu. Poznanie rodzaju oraz przyczyn dysfunkcji seksualnych występujących u pacjentów może poprawić współpracę z lekarzem oraz przestrzeganie zaleceń, a tym samym przełożyć się na lepsze wyniki stosowanej terapii. Na podstawie przeglądu dostępnych źródeł można wyznaczyć także możliwe kierunki przyszłych badań.
