Abstract

MDMA, or 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine, has over a hundred years of history. Synthesized in Merck
laboratories overcame a long way to become the hope for many people suffering from post-traumatic stress
disorder. Article presents the history of MDMA from synthesis until today.
