The concept of breast surgeon according to European Society of Mastology

Abstract
Breast cancer is a key issue for modern medicine. The aim of this paper is to present the concept of
breast surgeon as a new subspecialty which intention is to harmonize breast cancer care and training in
Europe. Requirements for breast surgeons defined by European Society of Mastology are outlined.
