Multistage, long-term therapy for patients diagnosed with castration-resistant prostate cancer
Abstract
Metastatic prostate cancer is an incurable disease. There has been a significant progress in the possibility of effective treatment of the disease (in particular, a castration-resistant form) with a significant prolongation of an overall survival, and prolongation of the time to progression of the disease. The paper shows the case of a patient diagnosed with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer who has been treated with three lines of available systemic therapy.
