Abstract
Diagnostic and therapeutic management in patients with malignant neoplasms depends — in large extent — on the acuuracy and timeliness of pathological diagnosis. Current complexity of pathological diagnosis of cancer (ie, requirement to describe identifable prognostic and predictive factors) results in the necessity of having reports prepared in a synoptic way. This paper presents the principles and time schedule necessary for system of pathology reporting implementation based on College of American Pathologists guidelines.
