Small cell lung cancer — case report

Abstract
Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC) is diagnosed in about one quarter of patients with lung cancer. Among all lung cancer SCLC is featured by the highest malignancy. Despite the chemo- and radiosensitivity, regardless of the stage, only a small percentage of patients achieved long-term survival. In this publication we present a case of the patient with extensive stage of SCLC who underwent three lines of chemotherapy. A long-term survival was achieved by these treatment.
