Abstract
The article is the report from the ESMO Symposium on Immuno-Oncology, which was held on November 15–16, 2013, in Geneva. The efficacy of immunotherapy in patients with non-small cell lung cancer or melanoma was presented. The famous international Experts discussed some possible criteria for evaluation of response during anticancer treatment using antibodies targeted against the CTLA-4 and PD-1 receptors as well as against programmed death-ligand (PDL-1). Predictive values of selected biomarkers were shown.
