Malignant mesothelioma of the tunica vaginalis testis

Abstract

Malignant mesothelioma of the tunica vaginalis testis is a very rare tumor representing 0.3% to 5% of all malignant mesotheliomas. Most patients are in their 50s or older , but 10% patients are younger than 25 years. The crucial thing is adequate diagnosis and proper surgery, whereas there are only few data concerning treatment of systemic disease. We present a case of 64-year-old man with this entity and briefly describe this disease.
