Profilactic effect of the diet on colon cancer

Abstract

Cancer diseases are actually the second, after circulation system diseases, cause of the human deaths
both in Poland and all over the world, and their morbidity increases constantly. That is the reason, why
its prophylaxis is so important. Unfortunately, prevention of these diseases is being ignored because of
the lack of health education and the lack of its awareness. The main goal of this paper is to discuss the
relantionship between dietary factors/profilactic effects of the diet on the development of colon cancer.
