Abstract

Niedomykalność trójdzielna (TR, tricuspid regurgitation) jest częstą nabytą wadą serca. Jest chorobą postępującą i związaną z pogorszeniem długoterminowego rokowania zarówno u objawowych, jak i bezobjawowych pacjentów. Pomimo tych danych łączna liczba wykonywanych na świecie chirurgicznych napraw zastawki trójdzielnej jest mała, a wielu pacjentów z istotnymi wskazaniami pozostaje bez leczenia. Stosowane na coraz większą skalę małoinwazyjne techniki przezcewnikowe mogą stać się atrakcyjną opcją terapeutyczną dla tej rosnącej grupy pacjentów. Spośród dostępnych metod leczenia przezskórnego naprawa metodą brzeg-do-brzegu zyskuje w ostatnim czasie na znaczeniu. W niniejszym artykule podsumowano aktualną wiedzę dotyczącą tej metody leczenia.
